Challah Cover, Seven Species

The seven species of Israeli produce, dating back to biblical times, are vividly represented on this colorful collage of a challah cover. Baskets of wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates sit resplendent against a backdrop of winelike purple, yellows, greens, and reds. The Hebrew across the top of this artful cover reads "Lichvod Shabbat v'yom tov," designating its use on the Sabbath and other Jewish holidays.
