Artist Laya Crust uses inks and paint on paper to touch the soul of the viewer. Crust believes that each person is deeply touched or changed by what they encounter, and uses her art to initiate a spiritual conversation with the viewer. She gathers inspiration from her home in Toronto, as well as her background in fine art, calligraphy, and Judaic studies. The Persian Rose Ketubah shines with shades of royal purple and blue, adorned with flourishes inspired by classic Persian tilework.
